Change In Our Lifetime!

Barack Obama is the President of the United States of America (US of ObamA).

I have been awake all night in order to witness this historic moment. We have been waiting as a nation for this time, whether consciously or subconsciously. God has blessed us to be a part of the change. I have made calls and texts home to congratulate my friends and family on supporting Barack and seeing him through to his victory in the White House. We have cried tears of joy together with the realization that a man for all people is inhabiting the most powerful political seat in the nation. I encourage communities the world over to look to America and this new president to inspire us to create change and progress in our own personal spaces.

Apply this concept at home and at work, in your personal and business relationships. Work tirelessly towards building and living your dreams. Change is upon us now. Grab it with both hands and shape it into your vision. You can! We can! We Have!!!!!!!!!!

Karen, we are definitely blessed to have been able to see this in our lifetime! Tell our 'family' overseas that their prayers and wishes were felt over here!!

Karen, it's truly a historic and monumental stride for all African Americans. Yes we can, and we did! African Americans can walk taller, with more pride, and shed the shackles of the stigmas that have been placed on us for so long in this country. Barack Obama is the epitome of the values that have been instilled in us. God Bless everyone, especially those who had a part in bringing change to America. They voted, they lifted their voices at the election polls. This is not the time to slack up. We need to re-focus our core values, and continue to give the same strength we used to make this historic change. We must prepare our children (and ourselves) for the changes yet to come. We must be ready to aid Barack Obama in his call for change. Change will only happen one step at a time, one family at a time. Raise your sights to better education, lower crime. We will no longer be "judged by the color of our skin, but the content of our mind." Martin Luther King made that possible. Barack Obama is our Messiah, our leader. Let's make him proud.
